Tom Barrett, the Milwaukee mayor who lost the gubernatorial race to Scott Walker in 2010, is on the air with his first TV ad in the recall election, promising to restore collective bargaining rights for public workers:

Other Democrats, including former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, Secretary of State Doug La Follette and state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout, are itching to take on Walker, but the man who came up short last time is the early frontrunner.
